"The credit belongs to those people who are actually in the arena... who know the great enthusiasms, the great devotions to a worthy cause; who at best know the triumph of high achievement; and who at worst fail while daring greatly, so that their place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who know neither victory or defeat."
--Theodore Roosevelt
(One of the greatest persons of the 20th century. President, governor, activist, explorer, author, soldier, Rough Rider, Nobel Prize winner, conservationist, father, husband, and more.)
This is a inspirational quote from a great man. It remains on my desk at work... a gift from my youngest sister. I don't pretend to think that anything I undertake measures against such a great person, or that I'm a daring person in the arena of life. I just like the quote and a nice reminder to live each day fully. Even for stretches when you forget, if you have the spirit, it can always be recaptured or reignited.
