So, we landed here in Madrid and have checked into our hostel, the Hostal la Vera (not the neighboring hostel). It was a looooong flight. Ted's tired (see photo). Actually, it was just the glaring sun. From there we strolled around town, grabbed some food, and found our way to the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofia. I managed to take a shot of the new media exposition with my video camera before several guards came to warn me not to use it. Hmmm, you can't video a new media exposition. Maybe if I sketched it. See a quick video above. It was really cool.
In any case, it's about 11:30, so in tradition of the people of Madrid, we are going to eat and play. From what we have read, people here laugh at the night scenes of NYC and Paris, but I'm certain we can hang.
